庞中华，中国四川人。从“草根”通过自身努力成为闻名世界的书法家、教育家和诗人。
曾任国家文化部中国硬笔书法协会1-4届主席兼法人代表，第八届全国政协委员。现任中国硬笔书法协会终身名誉主席、中国教育部硬笔书法考级专家委员会主任、美国世界艺术教育交流中心及北京庞体文化艺术中心创建人，数百项社会兼职。
自1980年以来，有420多种专著出版发行，至今30余年畅销不衰。其图书总印数已突破两亿册。成为几代中小学生习字课本，中国人家庭藏书必备。
他多次在中国中央电视台举办《庞中华硬笔书法讲座》，听众以千万计，掀起中国硬笔书法的热潮。他创办的“庞中华硬笔书法中心”及学院，迄今已培养200多万人，桃李满天下。他独树一帜的“快乐立体教学法”，在国内及日本、美国、德国、东南亚、土耳其等地的世界级名校、机关、社团及联合国总部演讲数千场，影响深远。
他关心硬笔书法工具的发展与改革，自创国内品牌“庞中华牌书法笔”，他研制的“庞中华牌航天员用笔”随“神九”、“神十”飞上太空，为中国书法及航天事业做出了贡献。他用各类硬笔、毛笔创作的书法作品，既传统又创新，被誉为“庞体”。具有独创性、艺术性和时代性，成为珍贵艺术藏品。
他开创的现代硬笔书法，影响了几代中国人，深受人民大众喜爱，被誉为“人民书法家”、 “中国硬笔书法第一人”。
Bio of Mr. Pang Zhonghua
A native of Sichuan, China, Pang Zhonghua has pulled himself up by his bootstraps from the grassroots to become a world-renowned calligrapher, educator and poet.
Mr. Pang was the first-to-fourth-term chairman and legal person of the Chinese Hard-pen Calligraphy Association under the Ministry of Culture and a member of the Eighth Session of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (the equivalent of the Chinese Senate). He is now Honorary Chairman for Life of the Chinese Hard-pen Calligraphy Association, Chairman of the Professional Committee on Hard-pen Calligraphy Certification Exams under the Ministry of Education, and cofounder of both America International Culture & Education Communication Center and Beijing Pang Calligraphy Culture & Art Center, in addition to holding hundreds of titles and positions in various organizations.
Since 1980, Mr. Pang has written and published over 420 books which have been selling like hotcakes for more than three decades. His printed books have broken the 200 million mark and become the penmanship textbooks for several generations of Chinese elementary and high school students, invariably found in Chinese family library collections.
